- Cades Cove: an 11-mile loop through the national park with mountain views and wildlife.
- Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail near Gatlinburg, open seasonally, for waterfalls and old homesteads.
- Back at the cabin: the fire pit, the outdoor bar and the yard games.
Remember a national park parking tag if you stop anywhere in the park for more than 15 minutes.
