Indoor Pool Guide
A Pigeon Forge Cabin with a Private Indoor Pool
Most pools in the Smokies close for half the year. The one at The Fourth Story is heated, indoors and private to your group, whatever the weather is doing.
Why an indoor pool changes the trip
Outdoor pools at cabins and resorts around Pigeon Forge usually close for the cooler months, so a fall, winter or early-spring trip often means no swimming at all. A heated indoor pool takes the weather out of the plan: you can swim in January as easily as in July, rainy afternoons are covered, and the kids have somewhere to burn off energy after a day in the car or at the park.
A private pool also means no shared resort schedule, no crowds and no walking across a parking lot in a towel. It is simply part of the house.
The pool at The Fourth Story
- Heated year-round in a climate-controlled room on Level 1.
- Private to your group. No shared resort pool and no set hours.
- Ready to play: poolside seating, a basketball hoop, and pool floats and noodles.
- Next to the High Score Club game room, with Ms. Pac-Man/Galaga and Mortal Kombat II arcade cabinets, air hockey and a Nintendo Switch 2.
See every angle on the photos and floor plans page.
After the pool
- Rooftop hot tub on the covered Level 4 deck, beside a stone fireplace and lounge with a Smart TV.
- Smokeless wood-burning fire pit with Adirondack chairs, an outdoor bar and yard games.
- Room for 14: three king suites with private bathrooms, a queen-over-queen bunk suite and two queen sleeper sofas.
- Close to everything: about 4 minutes to the Pigeon Forge Parkway and about 15 minutes to Dollywood.
With stairs, decks, a pool and a hot tub, children should be supervised at all times. A high chair and pack ’n play are available on request.
